The offer is addressed to Confagricoltura associates living in rural areas

Rome, February 9th 2016 – Confagricoltura, the organization that represents and protects Italian agricultural companies, signed an agreement with TIM to provide rural companies which currently have no broadband access with a satellite connection, that will allow all Confagricoltura members to benefit from high speed Internet connection.

Thanks to this initiative, TIM will provide a turnkey digital solution – realized in partnership with Eutelsat Broadband, business unit of Eutelsat S.A. Group – that includes provision of a satellite access with download speed up to 22Mbps and upload speed up to 6Mbps, installation of a kit composed by antenna and modem, and maintenance. Three different plans are available, in order to answer to the associates’ different needs. The offer can be implemented with additional digital services like video surveillance, remote control of devices and systems, electronic billing, and e-commerce.

More information and details about the subscription procedure are available at the dedicated Confagricoltura link:

“Confagricoltura is actively committed to establishing important partnerships that can facilitate Internet access even in rural areas, in order to increase the competitiveness of companies operating in this field”, said Mario Guidi, President of Confagricoltura.

“We are really excited to have taken part in this project that allows us to bring innovation to those areas which are historically poorly served by broadband services, and to offer new business opportunities to rural companies,” said Roberto di Gaetano, Country Manager Eutelsat Broadband for Italy.
