Catherine Carde is the CEO of EuroBroadband, the joint venture created with Viasat for our broadband activity across Europe through our KA-SAT satellite.
Catherine joined us after 7 years in the Canal + Group where she was first CEO at Canal + International for the Caribbean and Indian Ocean areas and then Director of Operations and Business Unit Director for Canal + Africa.
From 1995 to 2000, and then from 2002 to 2005, she held several management positions at TPS.
She also worked in the USA and led some studies on satellite and cable operators’ strategies and on emerging technologies.
A French national, Catherine is graduated from HEC (Major Entrepreneurs).
He joined the joint venture between ViaSat and Eutelsat at its inception in early 2017.
Evan joined ViaSat in 2015 to lead the Consumer Business in EMEA. Over the past 10 years, Evan has served in various management roles at Yahoo!, DIRECTV, and AT&T.
Evan holds a B.S. in Business Management from the University of Colorado (Boulder, CO) and an MBA in Finance from Pepperdine University (Malibu, CA).
He is Vice President and Chief Technical Officer of the Euro-Broadband joint venture.
Before relocating to Europe earlier this year, Mr. Agnew led engineering and operations for ViaSat’s exede® broadband service. Prior to that, he headed ViaSat’s broadband systems group which developed the SurfBeam® scalable broadband networking system that is operated on Ka-band spot beam satellites in North America and Europe to deliver residential, business and mobile broadband services.
During his career at ViaSat, Mr. Agnew has served in a number of technical and managerial roles in both commercial and government business.
Mr. Agnew joined ViaSat in 1988 after first working at Comsat in Virginia and Linkabit in California. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from The George Washington University and earned his MSEE at the University of California, Berkeley.
His responsibility is to develop partnership with various Distribution channels (Telecom Operator, DTH Operator, ISP, VSAT Operator, Retailers) across the coverage of KA-SAT (Europe, MENA).
Having spent previously seven years at Philips, five years at Microsoft and nine years at Nokia in multiple Commercial and Management positions, he has a wide experience of the Consumer Electronics, IT and Telecom markets in an International environment.

Olivier Roussel is CFO of EuroBroadband.
He joined the Eutelsat Group in 2013, bringing to the company over 15 years of international audit experience. He joined the company from Ernst & Young where he was senior manager within the Fraud Investigation and Dispute Services line of Business.
Prior to this, he coordinated audit of international listed companies (Telco and other industries), participated to the implementation of Sarbanes Oaxley Act with US companies while detached in the United States. Olivier also participated to the IPO process of Eutelsat Communications in 2005. Olivier Roussel is a graduate of NEOMA Business School (Rouen) and holds a Graduated Business Diploma of Business Administration from La Trobe University, Melbourne.
